Great for a weekend break.
Easy to find, friendly and helpful staff. Beds clean and made up.
The carpets and sofas were not particularly clean in the room.

Excellent location for St George’s Hospital. Very modern , clean and tidy. Excellent front of house team( girls you know
The two young girls on the reception desk were FAB, nothing was too much trouble , even granting us a little extra time in our hotel room due to visiting the hospital with our daughter
The slight smell in S2 , I think coming from the shower. From experience I believe it to be something to do with the waste pipe , the smells coming back up. It was like that last time we stayed! As soon as you showered the smell seem to go away !!!

What was the highlight of Pelican London Hotel and Residence
Very Good
The room was tidy, clean and had what we needed for just a one night stay. Pretty basic but at the price we paid it was what we expected and wanted.
My only complaints are firstly, the shower in our room was level access, and the drain didn't clear quickly enough so unfortunately the shower water started overflowing and before we even realised it the water had gone under the bathroom door and into our bedroom and possibly even into the hallway outside. Our room is designed for disabled people, luckily we are able bodied and were able to clean up the large amount of water however if you were disabled and hadn't realised what was happening, as we didn't, it would have been a real issue. Regardless of that, the fact that a wet room with a door so close to the shower doesn't have some kind of seal on the underside of the door to help prevent this is quite baffling. Had we stayed in the shower for another 2 minutes I suspect the entire room floor would have been Flooded. This was in Room 1 FYI. This aside my only othe issue was the lack of a socket on the right side of the bed.
